Originally created in 1984 as a kitchen commissary for Roche Bros. Supermarkets in Massachusetts, the Hans Kissle chefs began working wonders. We developed incredible recipes using small batch cooking and started to prepare foods that tasted as if consumers prepared the salads themselves from scratch.
The response was amazing! "I'll never have to cook again" was heard over and over as Hans Kissle found its way onto more tables across the United States.

As a small company, our first corporate headquarters burned to the ground in Somerville, MA. Encouraged by our faithful customers, Hans Kissle emerged as an expanding salad manufacturer in a new Wilmington, Massachusetts facility.
Today, Hans Kissle has established itself as an industry leader. We are creating superb salads and prepared foods, in one of the most modern facilities in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
